God has provided so miraculously for us to get Rachel home from China in time for life-saving surgery.  Family, friends, and yes, even strangers have stepped forward to be a part of God's beautiful plan for Rachel. We have established this website so that more can hear her incredible story of HOPE and become a vital part of it through prayer and giving. The medical expenses surrounding a heart transplant are mind boggling. We actually received such an outpouring of love and financial support before even leaving for China to bring Rachel home, that we were able to cover most of the medical expenses of the last 8 months. In addition, the Dance Ministry at Christ Church of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida contributed a generous gift through their annual Nutcracker presentation to help offset many of our expenses thus far. Unfortunately, funds for Rachel's medical expenses have become depleted and we are humbly asking for your prayerful consideration in being a part of bringing Rachel HOPE through helping to fund her upcoming heart transplant. Words can simply not express how grateful we are for your overwhelming outpouring of love for us as a family and specifically for our precious new daughter, Rachel.
